If you have always wanted to catch some of the largest Redfish in the world, Green Creek Outfitters has a trip for you. They will take you exploring the mighty Neuse River which holds giant catches – just bring your food and hop on board!

Just think of a 30-50lb fish that can appear at the end of your fishing line. These Reds fight like bulls and will surely make your arms sore!

Your day will begin by setting out and looking for signs of bait. You will sight cast these areas with medium-light tackle for a monster! If you are planning an afternoon trip, your captain will take you bottom fishing with cut bait or artificial lures and fish into the night. The local Redfish are all spawning so you will take special care to release every one of them unharmed as fast as possible.

The trips run from August through September when the fish begin to head back in the ocean. You will be fishing aboard a Sea Chaser center console, built in 2020. This seaworthy vessel comes powered by a single 250 HP Suzuki engine and has plenty of space for up to 3 anglers.

The boat is outfitted with navigational and fishfinding electronics to build up a clear image of where the hottest bite is. There is also a livewell and an ice-box to keep your drinks cool during the day.

All trips include the use of quality rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures. Fishing licenses are also covered by the captain, as well as drinks. Your snacks are welcome aboard.
