Lucky Dog Charters

Lucky Dog Charters operates out of Kenosha, Wisconsin and provides memorable Salmon and Trout fishing adventures. They are operated by a USCG full-time licensed captain, Brandon, who has been fishing these waters for over 30 years and knows exactly where to go to put you on the fish.

Captain Brandon is a fun and caring person who will make sure you are having a good time aboard his boat. He will take you out on his 36-foot Trojan express cruiser named Lucky Dog, which was originally built in 1987, and restored in 2020. It is powered by two 350 HP Crusader engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots.

The speedy vessel contains all the safety equipment, electronics and fishing gear needed to make your trip a success. It has a kitchen with a fridge where you can store your food and drinks for the day, as well as a toilet which is very useful when taking your family out.

Lucky Dog Charters will take you fishing on Lake Michigan where various species of Trout and Salmon can be found in good numbers. Depending on the season, you can catch Lake Trout and Brown Trout, and Chinook Salmon and Coho Salmon. Captain Brandon will advise you exactly which species you will target.

Captain Brandon and first mate will clean and fillet your catch at the end of your trip so you can leave feeling satisfied with the day’s fishing, and look forward to cooking your own catch.
