ProWest Fishing LLC – Strawberry Reservoir

Make the most of your time in Heber City and go fishing with ProWest Fishing at Strawberry Reservoir. Captain Weston has fished it for over 25 years.

You are most likely to catch Cutthroat and Rainbow Trout. But it is possible to catch Kokanee Salmon (landlocked Sockeye). You will target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging and or bait fishing.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! They also have life jacket sizes for all ages. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your boat for the day is a 16’ Aluminum pro-V Guide Tracker that holds up to 3 passengers. It has downriggers, rods, reels and all the essentials.

Before coming aboard, it is required to have a local fishing license for everyone that will be fishing. Also, we are required by state law to release every Cutthroat Trout between 15-22″. information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain on getting a license.

Don’t forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, drinks, food and snacks. Alcohol is not allowed. Also dress warm! ice fishing is between January and April, you must bring snow pants, boots, gloves, etc. More info will be provided on ice fishing.
