Running offshore and near shore trips out of Wanchese,NC Citation SportFishing invites you to come join us for a day on the water.

Capt. Gerrad aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, kite fishing, popping, and spinning. You’re looking at 4 to 12-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, Sailfish, Tuna, and Tilefish, depending on the weather and time of year.

You’ll be fishing from a 57’ Island Boatworks vessel with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet, AC, ice box, and a fighting chair. The crew works very hard to help their guests catch the fish of a lifetime and make the day the most memorable experience possible, so please remember to tip your mate at the end of the trip. It’s customary to tip 15-20%.

The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so.
