Captain Skylar is a US Coast Guard licensed Captain, certified in adult and pediatric first aid and CPR. He takes great pride in being legal and safe on the water, making your trip a much more enjoyable experience.

The fish in these waters include Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie and many more. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, generally spinning gear.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, just let Captain Skylar know. You’re welcome to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed but help yourself to anythjng the captain has onboard.

Your adventure begins aboard a 21’ Caymas bass boat with room for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included and usually caught before picking you up from the dock.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation but preferred to be in a spill-proof container.
